listeners to some 120 to 150 events that span all genres from classical music to jazz to musical
theater every June through September.  Many travel options make getting to Ravinia a breeze.    
Ravinia is in a residential neighborhood bordered by single-lane streets, so traffic can back up on
some concert nights.  Metra Rail via Union Pacific North Line with service from Chicago to Kenosha is

Laugh Factory to Open in Chicago this Summer

A 377-seat branch of the Los Angeles-based World Famous Laugh Factory is slated to open in the
former digs of Chicago's Lakeshore Theater, at the southeast corner of Belmont and Broadway.  The
red-carpet grand opening, recently postponed from mid-June, now is set for around July 1. The
Chicago Laugh Factory will be situated in a prime location surrounded by restaurants and easily
accessible by public transportation.

Burberry Expansion   

Burberry plans to tear down and replace its longstanding Mag Mile flagship with a bigger and more
dramatic store, another sign that the luxury retail business is bouncing back.  Burberry reported
record profits and double-digit revenue growth for the year ended March 31 and said it plans to
upgrade its stores in several markets including London, Hong Kong and Chicago. The retailer aims to
move into its temporary home at 540 N. Michigan Ave in July and begin demolition of its old store, at
633 N. Michigan Ave., in August. The target date for completion is fall 2012.
