The Hilton Chicago held its annual Gala on Saturday, May 9, 2009 to a full house in the Normandy
Room and the Grand Ballroom.

Since 1987, the Alzheimer's Association has hosted the annual Chicago gala named after screen
legend Rita Hayworth in our headquarters city. Held annually on Mother's Day weekend, the Chicago
Rita Hayworth Gala celebrates and honors medical research and programs in the treatment, prevention
and cure of Alzheimer's disease. This year, enjoy an Evening in Monte Carlo, with complimentary casino
gaming, dinner, dancing and live entertainment by the Roy Vombrack Orchestra. In its 21-year existence,
the Chicago Rita Hayworth Galas have raised more than $17 million.

Description: The Lincoln Park Zoo is located
in a beautiful park setting near Chicago's
lakefront. In Creatures of Habitat, see more
than 200 creatures living in a $12-million
greenhouse with rain forests, savannahs
and deserts recreated under a 45-foot high
glass dome. The Great Ape House is a
terrific place to watch the antics of gorillas,
orangutans and chimpanzees. Big cats
including lions, leopards, cheetahs and
tigers live in a habitat similar to their native
environment. The children's zoo gives visitors
a chance to animals up-close and to learn
more about wildlife at the Conservation
Station.
