Now through Saturday is the last chance to experience our Oscar Nominee Spotlights, one-of-a-kind events where you can hear the nominated filmmakers discuss their craft and share insights into the making of their films.


After the 97th Oscar winners are announced on

Sunday, March 2, join us for a selection of the winning films in our state-of-the-art David Geffen Theater.


The Academy Museum will be closed on Sunday, March 2, as we prepare to welcome guests for the Official Oscars® Watch Party.


The museum will reopen Monday, March 3, at noon.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Doja Cat, Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande, LISA of Blackpink, Queen Latifah and RAYE will participate in showstopping performances celebrating the filmmaking community and some of its legends at the 97th Oscars®, executive producer and showrunner Raj Kapoor and executive producer Katy Mullan announced today.


The show also will feature a special appearance by the Los Angeles Master Chorale. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the Oscars will air live on ABC and stream live on Hulu on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with the official live red carpet show airing at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT. The producers will continue to announce talent joining the show leading up to the ceremony. The 97th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Dolby® Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and will be televised live on ABC, streamed live on Hulu and airs live in more than 200 territories worldwide.






LOS ANGELES, CA – The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will celebrate Oscars® Sunday with exclusive Oscars viewing parties in New York and London for its members and invited film industry guests.


In addition, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures will host its public annual viewing party in Los Angeles. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the Oscars will air live on ABC and stream live on Hulu on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, with the

official live red carpet show airing

at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.


Oscars Night New York will be held at the Mandarin Oriental, where the event will kick off with a cocktail reception and a menu explicitly crafted for the occasion. Oscars Night London will take place at The Dorchester, where attendees will experience the excitement of the live broadcast, from the red carpet arrivals to the highly anticipated

Best Picture announcement.


The evening will feature a menu inspired by the Oscars Governors Ball, the Academy’s official post-Oscars celebration. Meanwhile, the Academy Museum will host the Official Oscars Watch Party in Los Angeles, presented with support from AFEELA by Sony Honda Mobility.


Attendees will enjoy special photo opportunities, an Official Oscars Watch Party gift bag, and a selection of light hors d’oeuvres by Wolfgang Puck Catering, complemented by wines from Clarendelle & Domaine Clarence Dillon, and champagne from Lallier.

I love riding the plane across the country to California... this time on American Airlines... the gorgeous corals, blues, turquoises and gold surrounding the snow-topped Rocky Mountain ranges and the cumulus and stratus clouds...it still is a magical world. Hollywood, a...t least in the mind... is still a magical town.


It is not the Hollywood of the glamour days of the mid 20th century, and certainly no longer the exciting little sleepy place full of fresh air and orange groves and pepper trees of the days when the magic of motion pictures was so new and ethereal then. Hollywood is now large and loud, beautiful and a little seedy too, still capturing the imagination of the world with its enormous Oscar event attracting fans and press from around the world.


It is the center of glamour and excitement on Oscar weekend, and there are literally hundreds of parties to celebrate the event. I attended Night of a Thousand Stars at the famous Beverly Hills Hotel, invited by friends where a few hundred television directors, producers and actors, music stars, gorgeous models and former Oscar winners walked the enormous 200-foot-long "step-and-repeat" to be photographed by at least sixty photographers and video cameras.


Following the event, I attended a Third Annual Oscar Gathering party back in Hollywood along with our Red Carpet Concierge team and it was filled with friendly people, many who once lived in Chicago and New York and are now in Hollywood for a myriad of reasons, most of them in the film world.
